Propane Certification Program
The online Pioneer Eclipse: Propane Certification Training Program consists of three courses, each course followed by an assessment. Students must score at least an 80% on EACH assessment in order to pass the class. Courses must be taken in order.
Course 1 – Introduction to Propane Powered Floor Care Machines
Course 2 – How to Safely Handle, Store, and Fill Propane Cylinders
Course 3 – The Dangers of Propane
After submitting the registration form you will receive an email confirmation from Rise.com with a link to the online classroom. Pioneer Eclipse utilizes Rise online training systems to provide you with an engaging and easy-to-use training program.
Upon successfully finishing this program, you will be able to download your certificate of completion.

Factory Certified Technician School
The Pioneer Eclipse Technician School is a comprehensive course on propane and battery-powered floor care equipment. The program begins with core technical theory and progresses into propane safety, machine tune-ups, troubleshooting, and the use of special tools. Designed to equip technicians with the skills to keep Pioneer Eclipse machines operating at peak efficiency, the curriculum provides both practical training and in-depth knowledge of the full equipment line.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Technicians employed by a Pioneer Eclipse Distributor or service center. The technician must be sponsored by their Pioneer Eclipse sales representative. Each class is limited to the first eight (8) applicants.
NOTE: Pioneer Eclipse dealers with 6 or more technicians that want to attend together may be eligible for a private technician school. Contact your Pioneer Eclipse sales representative to discuss this option.
WHERE IS THE SCHOOL HELD?
The Factory Certified Technician School is held at the Pioneer Eclipse headquarters and factory in Sparta, North Carolina. The factory is about a two hour drive from Charlotte, or a one and a half hour drive from Winston Salem.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The Factory Certified Technician School tuition is $400. Payment is required at the time of registration. If other arrangements need to be made for tuition payment, please talk to your Pioneer Eclipse sales representative.
WHAT IS PROVIDED?
Hands-on instruction, manuals, Monday – Wednesday night accommodations, lunch, and a Pioneer Eclipse engine set-up kit. NOTE: Transportation, breakfast, and dinner will be the responsibility of those attending.
