Properly maintaining the wear layer of LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) preserves the floors appearance and extends its life. The processes of stripping, coating, cleaning, and protecting LVT are the same as other resilient floor types; however, the right chemicals must be used. The goal is to extend the life of the wear layer without damage or discoloration.

A low maintenance program of cleaning, protecting, and rejuvenating is recommended and beneficial.
