Pioneer Eclipse Launches Sentinel Synthetic Propane Engine Oil

Oil extends service intervals and promotes better engine life

SPARTA, NC- July 7, 2017: Pioneer Eclipse, the leader in floor care technology, today announced the launch of Sentinel Synthetic Propane Engine Oil.

Sentinel is specifically formulated for small, hot-temperature engines and is now being used in all Pioneer Eclipse propane powered machines, including burnishers, stripping machines, and concrete grinders and polishers. The switch to Sentinel, from conventional oil, will reduce maintenance labor by extending oil change intervals from every 50 hours to every 250 hours as well as extending initial break-in service intervals.

“Switching to Sentinel Oil will help promote better engine life,” said Brian Strickland, Senior VP of Commercial Operations. “We are excited to make this change and think that our customers will be happy as well.”
